A-Z Recycling Guide -- Sinks
Porcelain sinks, toilets and urinals may be recycled at the Center for Hard-to-Recycle Materials (CHaRM). See below.
Enameled cast iron or steel sinks and plumbing fixtures may be recycled with scrap metal also at the CHaRM facility.

Accepted materials: All porcelain sinks, toilets and urinals for a fee (pricing below). An additional charge applies if non-porcelain pieces such as toilet seats, lids and plumbing fixtures have not been removed. Broken or cracked units are okay. Enamel-coated cast iron tubs or sinks can be recycled as scrap metal free of charge at the CHaRM. Vehicles that come to CHaRM are charged a $3 facility use fee per visit in addition to any per-item fees. NO biohazards.

Accepted materials: Large working appliances no older than 10 years, no rust inside. Takes small working appliances, clean furniture, window hardware, wall coverings including framed pictures, mirrors, remodeling and building materials, tools, heating and cooling equipment, lawn and garden items, sporting goods and ranch supplies. Also takes aluminum cans, cell phones, ink cartridges and toner cartridges. Check website for a complete list.

Accepted materials: Windows, cabinets, appliances, lighting, carpet (clean, from wholesalers or retailers only), doors, plumbing, tiles and other home improvement items in good, clean, working condition. Items are used for job training and are resold at their warehouse.
