Once a year, more than 1,000 recycling and sustainability professionals gather to take part in the National Recycling Coalition's Congress & Expo, the nation's premier recycling and sustainability conference and exhibition.
In conjunction with this important national gathering of recycling thought leaders, Eco-Cycle is hosting an energizing evening event for conference attendees and local supporters. We will gather at the first hard-to-recycle facility in the nation -- the Center for Hard-to-Recycle Materials (CHaRM) -- on September 15 for
- the unveiling of two pressing campaigns that will fight against the Bush Administration's subsidies for polluting landfills and incinerators and change how our country conserves our natural resources
- an inspiring presentation by Will Toor, an elected official who helped move the City and County of Boulder to Zero Waste
- an open wine and beer bar
- hors d'oeuvres
- a silent auction of green products and services
- tours of the CHaRM
Then we'll boogie amidst the e-scrap with a rockin' local band!
