This chart identifies which businesses are prohibited from distributing plastic checkout bags as of January 1, 2024 (and maintain a minimum $0.10 fee on paper bags), and which businesses are exempt, as well as the types of bags that are exempt from the ban and fee.

Note that businesses can distribute any remaining inventory of plastic checkout bags after January 1, 2024, until supplies are depleted or until June 1, 2024, for a minimum $0.10 per bag fee.
