To tackle natural resource depletion and climate change, Eco-Cycle engages all sectors of the community to advance Zero Waste climate solutions that reduce consumption emissions, build circular economies, and draw down atmospheric carbon. 

One of our most important roles is to demonstrate what is possible for our future—by creating and honing local Zero Waste solutions and then sharing them for other communities to adopt, maximizing our impact. We are using the strength of our research, policy development, campaign work, and volunteer programs to create change locally, statewide, and nationally, including:

• Championing two new statewide policies to promote clean compost in Colorado
• Deploying the nation’s first EV commercial compost collection truck
• Developing a model Circular Community Compost System
• Recycling almost 100 million lbs of single-stream and hard-to-recycle materials
