The ever-increasing production of plastics, including a sharp increase in disposable plastic packaging and products, is creating serious problems for land, water, and wildlife. From the extraction of fossil fuels used to produce plastics to environmental pollution and difficulty recycling plastics, there’s are many reasons why we must reduce plastic production and consumption. In this video, we address these issues and look at solutions we as individuals can take – and steps the plastics industry MUST take to mitigate the plastics problem.
