Accepted materials: Unused and unwanted hazardous products year-round from residents of Boulder County, City and County of Broomfield, and Town of Erie. This includes residents of Allenspark, Boulder, Broomfield, Erie, Hygiene, Jamestown, Lafayette, Longmont, Louisville, Lyons, Nederland, Superior, and Ward. Proof of residency (e.g. driving license, voter ID, tax certificate, lease agreement) is required. Materials accepted include household cleaners, solvents, fluorescent tubes, glues, cleaners, pesticides, automotive fluids, automobile batteries, paint and paint products and rechargeable and non-alkaline batteries. Call for wastes from small businesses. Radioactive, explosive, shock-sensitive, infectious, and commercially generated wastes are not accepted. In addition, the County sponsors a reusable products give-away at the facility during regular hours. Get paint and other useful home-care products for free!
