These bilingual guidelines reflect changes in accepted curbside compost materials along Colorado’s Front Range communties (including Boulder County) as of April 1, 2023. Note: Yard bags are still accepted outside of the compost cart for Western Disposal residential customers only (Western Disposal staff will empty bags before composting). If your compost hauler is not Western Disposal, large paper yard bags are not compostable according to guidelines set by A1 Organics.
