Eco-Living Guide: Why go beyond the bin?

All Boulder County residents and businesses have access to a first-of-its-kind facility that does not exist in most US communities. It’s the Eco-Cycle/City of Boulder Center for Hard-to-Recycle Materials, affectionately called the CHaRM, where many items that you can’t recycle in your curbside bin are accepted.

When utilizing the CHaRM, we give new life to materials that typically get trashed, recycle electronics to the highest standards, create jobs for people with disabilities, give recovering individuals a new lease on life, and support schools and local organizations.
